Where will God send you this year?

SBC is passionate about fulfilling the Great Commission! While actively involved in the Southern Baptist Cooperative Program, we also partner financially with seven different ministries around the world. In addition, we encourage as many of our members as possible to be involved by participating in one of our local, national or global missions projects. In fact, our Missions Leadership Team is always looking for new opportunities for our members to be involved. We want to afford everyone an opportunity to serve no matter the age or skill set.

In 2009, we had over 350 people of all different ages join us on mission, with many participating on more than one trip. 2010 promises to be an exciting year with over a dozen different trips planned, with first time endeavors in the Bahamas, Honduras, and Savannah, GA. Also new this year is an opportunity for those interested, to join us as we explore the needs and challenges of missionary aviation.

So where will God send you this year? Africa? Peru? Honduras? Or maybe joining Families on Mission in Kingsport, TN? Or perhaps mobilizing with Disaster Relief to earthquake ravaged Haiti or Chile? So, with an open heart, take some time to peruse our pages and seek God’s heart. As you do, ask Him to guide you in where he might have you to go. And, be it across the street, or around the world, we hope you will join us on mission!
