Near the Summer of 2008, the ground was prepared for the project...
Shortly thereafter, the steel arrived to begin construction...
Pulling the steel beams off the semi...
In October, crews begin assembling the steal beams and laying block around the foundation...
A close-up look at the enterior of the construction site...
Early November - Crews begin constructing block walls around perimeter of building...
Early December - Crews have finished constructing block walls and are now placing metal around the exterior of the building.
Late December - Metal siding has been placed all around the exterior of the building....
Early January - With the exception of brick on both sides and rear, the basic exterior is complete....
....as you can see, the roof has now been finished...
...A view at what will be the student loft with games and an area to have Bible studies and fellowships. Obviously, the gymnasium floor will be where the gravel is now seen...

...this is where the Second Baptist food ministry will have space to store products to help needy families...
...this room will be a kitchen for quick prep items to be used for student events and other church fellowships.
Early March - Brick work has begun on the front of the building...

Mid-April - We begin final stages of the project...
