What can I expect?
When you arrive at Second, you can expect to be greeted warmly. We enjoy having guests, and you'll know it from the moment you arrive. You can expect to have a meaningful worship experience. We believe in making Jesus Christ central in every worship effort. Our worship and teaching is proof of our foundation in Christ.
What do I wear?
Most of our members are casual in attire. Whether you come in jeans and a t-shirt, slacks and a polo, or a suit you can expect to feel at home.
When do I need to arrive?
LifeConnections Sunday school classes begin at 9 a.m., so if you plan on attending a Bible study before church you probably need to arrive around 8:45. The morning worship service begins at 10:15, so plan on arriving by 10 a.m. - we want to make sure you're greeted properly and that you have enough time to find a place to sit our new 1300 seat worship center.
What about my children?
We love having kids and there's a place for them at Second. There are several classes for children to learn God's Word and be impacted through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As soon as you arrive, just tell a member of our welcome team the age of your child and they’ll direct you to the proper room. We also provide a nursery for those children still unable to attend a class, but who have parents who want to attend Bible study or worship.
While at Second, you can register your child for our AWANA program. Activities begin each Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. and run through 8:00 from August through May.
I want to join!
If you find that Second is what you're looking for in a church home, simply come forward during the invitation time of a service and our pastor and counselors will guide you through the process of becoming a member of our exciting fellowship of Believers. If you have additional questions regarding membership you can call the church office and ask to speak to a member of our ministerial staff.
